Donhad Pty Ltd is a privately owned company founded in August of 1965. The company is a manufacturer of forged steel grinding balls, engineering forgings and a range of specialised fasteners for use in the mining and mineral processing industry. Donhad prides itself on being the technical leader for grinding media and fasteners in Australia. Customers benefit from our product development, failure analysis and mill optimising capability. 

A major part of the worldwide Moly-Cop Group of grinding media manufacturers - Donhad shares knowledge with other Moly-Cop affiliates in Italy, Peru, Chile, Mexico and Canada. These plants freely participate in technical interchange in the areas of grinding media chemistry, manufacturing technology and applications engineering technology.

Donhad has three grinding media manufacturing operations strategically located in Perth, Newcastle and Townsville. All three operations meet the stringent requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 and Occupational Health and Safety Standard AS/NZS 4801:2001. The Perth operation also has a forging and heat treatment facility for the manufacture and supply of specialised fasteners.
