We are currently trialling our new Donhad758 125mm Sag ball and 1064 78mm at the Telfer operation. Both products represent the very best available technology in Australasia, providing greater wear resistance to reduce consumption and cost.
Results from an independently run Market Ball Wear Test conducted at a major copper producer in Australasia indicated that the Donhad1064 grade showed a 4-5% reduction in wear rate when compared to the standard Donhad864 grade. This wear rate reduction increases to 6% when compared to our nearest Forge ball competitor.
The trials at Telfer are progressing well with no definitive results as yet. Once the trials are completed, we aim to make these grades available to our customer base, keeping your operating costs to a minimum and enhancing our reputation as an innovator in grinding media technology.
